toi moko were originally for families to keep what's left of there husband moko were usually only used on men after they died the head would be cut off and preserved by using tree sap and palm leaves to cover up any wounds or bleeding places then the brain and eyes were removed and then they boiled it then put it over an open fire and then left it out in the sun for four a couple of days then there's when they killed an enemy chef the would do the proses to get the head then in exchange for the head the enemy tribe would make peace then when Europeans arrived muskets were brought in by sailors and tradesmen then tribs began to have these weapons and gain the upper hand to take down other tribes as so other tribes became desperate to have more of these firearms as so they started to sell the heads to museums and tradesmen to have enough to get these weapons and the great musket war began and today they are trying to get all of the heads back to New Zealand
this was really fun compared to the usual quiz activity so you should pick a random subject and research it I promise it will be fun it was also pretty hard to make but was really fun to do as well no part was easy it was really hard and that's what made it fun we had to research the toi moko as the second part to our quiz activity
Hi Kalani its Latoya from Ahipara school. I really like your topic ¨Toi moko and all about it¨ Its very detailed. Next time maybe you could add a capital letter in the correct positions to make sure everyone knows if its a place, a name, or even a house. That could be one future focus you can focus on. Besides that, keep up the great work!
